My passion for photography didn’t start with a class or a passport; it began with a fascination of stories and what it means to tell one. I got my first camera from my grandfather when I turned 15 (“A good age”, he said, “to receive something mechanical — to learn what it means to be taken care of by something you take good care of.”) and I soon after discovered the power of a well-composed image.
