I owe a lot to my father.
My freckles; my sense of humor; my love of literature, of words and what they mean; the importance of asking, always asking; always why why whying the world.
He instilled in me a pride in the things I produce and an acknowledgement of appreceation for the things I cannot.
He taught me what it meant to honor lifes’ weight; to believe in myself but to, above all else, just BE myself.
He gave me my frist camera.
And that picture up there? Above all this sentimentality? That’s my dad.
I know because I took the picture.

Thanks for being that guy, Dad.
Thanks for teaching me everything I know.
Love you.
Happy Father’s Day.

That’s my girl!
Too many folks at your stage in life are out looking for themselves,
You are inventing yourself, a much better use of your time!
I love you too Sweety!
