Questions? I've got answers.
How long have you been in business?
I shot my first wedding in 2009 and haven't put my camera down since. If I get the photo booth, will my guests be able to get their photos instantly at the wedding?
Unfortunately, no. I do not have the ability to print photobooth pictures on site. However, guests will be given a card with the web address and password required to access the photos, which will be posted within 24 hours. What's your turn-around time?
About 4 weeks for engagement sessions, and up to 8 weeks for weddings. This is do to the fact that I edit all images in-house, and entirely on my own. Sometimes it can take a lot less time depending on the time of year.Do we get the rights to our images?
Yes. You will receive a disc with all of your images in addition to a written release that basically gives you permission to make personal copies of your photos for yourself, your family, and your friends. Although I retain the full copyright and ownership of the images, you receive unlimited copyright for personal use only. What kind of camera do you use?
A variety of Nikons. Can we meet you?
Of course! I think it's really important to meet my clients, especially before something as big as a wedding. What should we wear to our engagement session?
I want to tell you to "look nice", but that's so vague. What it really comes down to is this: be comfortable. In order to feel and, let's be honest, look comfortable in front of the camera, you need to BE comfortable. Sounds too simple, right? If you don't usually wear heels, don't. If you don't usually wear a tie, don't. Seriously. Being comfortable in your clothes counts for a lot.Where should we go for our engagement session?
Ideally, somewhere with a lot of significance to you and your fiance. The location of your first date. Where you met. Your grandparent's farm.
